Shoe fetish -  

This drawing was started in jest.  I've never really understood the shoe or foot fetish thing, at least among men. 

Probably my favorite manga title is Blade of the Immortal by Hiroaki Samura.  In it, the artist often pays particular attention to sandalled feet and footware.  The position of the feet, the stretch of the cords in a sandal.  One only needs to see a single good samurai movie to realize how important foot placement is in any duel.

So with all this in mind, I drew a shoe that would catch my interest.  No surprise that the figures are taken from Korean guardian and Buddhist sculptures. 

Plus, you can't completely draw a woman unless you can draw her feet and shoes.
