The good news:
I got Christmas off.
The bad news:
I work this Sat. and Sun. Possibly the busiest
weekend of the year.

And this entry's
Dr.Scott Doesn't Read Me Anyway Award
goes to:  BONNIE!

The presents are bigger than Sun Su.

SMALL CHRISTMAS TREE

Gifts this Christmas:

My brother living with us again (although I hardly see him due to his bartending hours).

My mom (as annoying as she is).

My lovely Amy.

Sweet Sun Su tearing open the presents.

Next year, we'll probably live in a different house with a different job.

Today I have everything I could want.

And in a month I'll have a little princess too.

The box says "wagon" in eight languages, including Corean.

THE ONLY COREAN THING I DO NOT LIKE

A few days ago I saw a new Corean drink in our kitchen. Never one to pass up a new experience from the motherland, I immediately drank up the little brown bottle labeled “Ssang Hwa Tang” without a second thought.

“ACK!! What is this shit?” I spat out as the dirty rooty aftertaste strangled my taste buds.

“It’s Corean medicine for your cold,” mom answered.

“Agh, God. I’d rather drink that dog juice (bo shin tang)!”

Sure enough, the label said it was packed with seven different roots and rhizomes. It was also nine months past its expiration date. Somehow I doubt it tasted much better even then.

Even Sun Su gets Hello Kitty stuff from Amy.

ONE WISH

This is the birthday card Amy gave me last week. Amy never writes things like this, but this time she did. It was everything I needed to hear.

Happy Birthday Scott!
Just want to let you know that I love you more now than when we met and even more than when we got married.
I love you even when I don't say it or don't act like it.
I love you even when I push you away in the middle of the night when I'm half asleep.
We are together and will be together for the journey ahead.
As long as we are together, everything will work out for the best.

Love Sun Su's mom,
Your baby's mommy,
Your wife

MORE RANDOM PRESENTS

Sun Su won't look so happy once he finds out it's just clothes.

Sun Su has a cold too and a bit of a rash.

(L to R): Amy, mom, my brother.

Sun Su and his new tent. Peek-a-boo never gets old with him. Kind of like how peek-a-boobie never gets old for men.

Smaller trees present less of a target for Sun Su.

BECAUSE I CARE

Since I am in the festive mood (despite having to work this weekend with the influenza blues), this is my gift to all of you.  It's the wallpaper I made for my computer screen at home.  Made it myself, for myself, but what the heck, I can share. (Fans of DOA Volleyball may appreciate this more than others. No nudity though.)
