People that go bump in the night:
Hi Fred and Sabina!
I asked Amy to write a short entry. But damn, not this short.
I just wanted to post the pictures from New Year's at her family's house. The words between the pictures are Amy's. I'll leave my comments in the "mouse-overs" on the pics. (For the newbies, just hold the mouse arrow over the picture to see the comments.)
My cousin, Kevin, actually has his own journal now and wrote about the New Year's thing at Amy's parents house.
THIS IS WHAT AMY CALLS AN ENTRY

Nada the middle child has the least amount of pictures of her at their house.
Korean rainbow coalition.
According to my neices, my nephew has a circle nose and my Sun Su has a triangle nose.
Switch our kids' day.
How come my face looks so big! Sun Su is thinking this is definitely not my daddy.
My boy is not used to the noise and people but he jumps right in and adds to the noise and fun.
Sun Su and I bowed together to our elders and made a handful of money. I bowed and he fell over.
(Sun Su started crying at this point and Amy ran upstairs to feed him. End of Amy's entry.)

SECOND BEST IDEA EVER
I've been slacking off of the gym and the treadmill the past month or so. This week I've been getting back in gear and I figured out how to get myself to run more.
At first, I thought watching K-pop videos while running on the treadmill in the basement would motivate me. It did for a while but eventually even Baby V.O.X.'s version of Lady Marmalade gets old.
Then I started watching Corean movies while running. This was okay sometimes but between melodrama and flirty cuteness, it's not very adrenalizing.
This week I decided to hook up my near obsolete game consoles (Dreamcast and 3DO) downstairs. No longer will I have to feel guilty about playing video games when I should be exercising! I can do both!
Some games don't work so well though. Driving games for instance tend to make me literally veer off the treadmill and wipe out onto the floor (I don't know why either but it is the opposite of fun). RPGs don't work because I don't want to feel like I am doing more work than the video game character. Fighting games I have yet to try. Although my FOES OF ALI boxing game (3DO) was perfect. After four rounds I truly felt like I was getting my ass kicked.
My favorite is this giant robot game (Gundam) for Dreamcast. Being a Mechwarrior fanatic, it actually works pretty well. It almost feels like a robot simulation when I'm running, like my legs are moving the giant robot's legs. I am a Space Marine. I am Johnny Sokko. I am a MechWarrior. I am TAEKWON-V !!! *
But really, I just don't want to get fat.
*Taekwon V (picture above) was a mega-popular all Corean-made cartoon series back in 1970s South Corea. It apparently holds tremendous nostalgia value for kids who grew up then. The theme song was also featured in the Corean boxing legend movie, CHAMPION. Taekwon V was recently re-released on DVD.
(Oh, my First Best Idea Ever is below.)

MEDEA SIN HOT MODEL
(or the Scott Appreciation Corner)
Today's HOT MODEL is the sexy raven-haired vixen known only as SABINA. She is uber-cool and quite possibly part-vampyr. (Oh no, here we go with the traditional Y-spelling of "vampyr" now). True to form, I saw no mirrors or sunlight in the pics that she sent me.
She and her beau (Fred, below) are some of the nicest people and have been most kind. Sabina is actually a mother as well, with a young boy of her own.
They look like a fun couple.
Of vampyrs, that is.
Thank you, Sabina and Fred.
