The Wallflowers latest, Breach.
The only video game Amy plays: Ms. Pac Man (for Dreamcast).
Eating: LIME-flavored Tostitos. Strangely interesting.
Amount of free merchandise Amy won with her prize doodle: $75!
That's more than I've ever made off of MY drawings ($0.00).
SUCKS TO BE ... The LIGER!
ME: "I can't believe you put that stuff on ... The LIGER!"
AMY: "He looked good with it."
ME: "I would never cause such physical trauma to our poor ... (The) LIGER!"
AMY: "Yeah, you cause all the psychological trauma."
GIRLS JUST WANT GLITTER
(Written by my bride Amy.)
My sister Sue and I went to Great Lakes Mall to do some shopping. It was jam packed.
We went into the Limited Too store which is a clothing store for little girls. They had a table set up with glitter makeup which lured me in. I was sitting there putting pink glitter gel in my hair and a granny stopped outside to watch me. When I saw her, I pointed to my hair and started laughing. She nodded her head and came into the store.
I asked the curious granny if she liked my glittery hair. She said it was very pretty and that it would be great for her 15 year old grand daughter.
They had a photo sticker booth and Sue and I took our picture. I didn’t find any Christmas gifts for anyone but I did find a cool disco top for dancing plus the hair glitter.
I put some of the glitter gel on …The LIGER! and it looked very cool! …The LIGER! looked like a rock star. I didn’t think he could feel it but then he swiped it off with this hind leg. I didn’t know he could reach up that high. I ended up cleaning it off with deep cleansing oil (from DHC).
I have been using DHC facial products for about a year and recently my doodle made it on their Doodle Board for which I won some free products. When my doodle came in the mail, I was so excited, I was jumping up and down and screaming.
I have settled into my new job. I’ve been there a little over a month now and I feel like I am really making a difference. I have mainly been working with breast cancer patients and it has been very rewarding. I like this new position because I get to interact with the patients, I have more autonomy, and I feel needed from the doctors which mainly happen to be female breast surgeons.
I think it was a good move to change professionally and personally since now I have a similar schedule to Scott’s. Change is good.
The days go by so fast that I try to remember the most important things in my life. Spending time with my family and friends, and finding time for myself and realizing what gives me pleasure are the most important. I like going to lunch with my sister, and playing with my nieces. Being in the same room with Scott gives me pleasure. I’m usually not sappy but that’s how I feel right now.
I have one girlfriend who is delirious in love. She met a guy and got engaged within a couple of months. I have another girlfriend who is crying every other day because her husband left her and they are going through divorce. Her husband does not want to speak to her unless it is about their 9 month old kid.
I can’t understand how two people who were married and had a child together act like that. I can’t imagine Scott and I like that ever.
